Samsung taps Spreadtrum as baseband supplier for TD-SCDMA smartphone

Spreadtrum Communications has announced that its newest TD-SCDMA baseband chip, the SC8802G, is shipping in Samsung's Galaxy S2 smartphone targeting China Mobile subscribers.
