Taiwan's direct Internet connection with 18 countries (including Hong Kong and Macao) reached a total bandwidth of 411.590Gbps as of the end of second-quarter 2010, increasing 13.36% sequentially and 55.51% on year, according to the government-sponsored Taiwan Network Information Center (TWNIC).
HiNet (operated by Chunghwa Telecom) had international Internet connection bandwidth of 218.551Gbps at the end of last quarter. It was the largest among all ISPs or non-commercial equivalents in Taiwan, followed by TWGate with 59.626Gbps, ncic (Sparq) with 32.997Gbps, TFN with 28.841Gbps, CNS-KBT with 14.290Gbps, NTT with 13.219Gbps, So-net with 10.000Gbps, AGC with 7.620Gbps, ASNet with 6.244Gbps and TWAREN with 5.699Gbps.
