Lite-On Technology to start shipping LED chips used in LCD TVs in 2Q10

Lite-On Technology has obtained certification for its LED chips from South Korea-based TV vendors through LED backlight unit (BLU) maker Radiant Opto-Electronics and will begin volume shipments in the second quarter of 2010, according to the company.
