Flytech Technology, a Taiwan-based maker of POS (point of sale/service) equipment/devices, has reported revenues of NT$203.2 million (US$6.1 million) for April, increasing by 19.32% on month and by 4.2% on year.
While the revenues of NT$473.2 million for the first quarter of 2009 dropped by 10.63% on year, the corresponding gross margin increased 4.98 percentage points to 38.39% and net profit grew 37.9% to NT$118.6 million, Flytech said.
Flytech recorded net earnings per share of NT$5.66 in 2008, and has decided to distribute a cash dividend per share of NT$4, said the company.
