Atom shortage may affect low-cost notebook panel shipments in July

LCD panel makers are afraid that a shortage of Intel Atom processors may affect their July shipments of 7- to 10-inch panels targeted to the low-cost notebook and MID (mobile Internet device) applications, according to industry sources.
