AUO tops monitor panel industry in 1Q, DisplaySearch says

Although South Korea-based panel makers still led the large-size panel industry in the first quarter of 2007, AU Optronics (AUO) surpassed Samsung Electronics to become the top maker for monitor panels during the period, according to DisplaySearch.
