Of Internet uses in Taiwan, 45.8% have heard about Web 2.0, according to a survey of 20,040 Internet users conducted jointly by two Taiwan-based companies, Yam Digital Technology and Target Link Marketing Research & Consulting, from December 15, 2006 to January 5, 2007.

Web 2.0 is a term used to describe a new generation of Internet-based services focusing on social networking, group collaboration and sharing among users.
