Yageo today announced that it has added a new product to its GPS HF (global positioning satellite system high frequency) antenna family for GPS-enabled handheld and portable consumer electronic devices.
The new chip-based multi-layer ceramic antenna, measuring only 6.3×2.0×1.15mm in compliance with the rules of the Wireless Enhanced 911 Emergency Services of the US, is now available at Yageo.
Roger Lu, General Manager of Yageo’s Special Product Business Unit, said, “Yageo's GPS HF antenna products come in the most complete specifications and smallest dimensions in the industry. Furthermore, our products are also tailor made from either ceramics or metal to our customers' needs for built-in GPS functions on a variety of consumer products, such as handheld mobile devices and navigation systems. Yageo’s GPS HF antenna has been certified by major ODMs as well as European and US customers. We anticipate the market demand to more than double this year.”
