SD Card Association introduces miniSD card standard

The US-based SD Card Association has introduced a new format for Secure Digital (SD) cards used in mobile phones. The new miniSD card is as compact as 21.5×20×1.4mm, the Nikkei Sangyo Shimbun reported.
