Mitsubishi to produce LCD monitor driver ICs for Hitachi

Hitachi has contracted Mitsubishi Electric to produce LCD monitor panel driver ICs at its Kochi factory at a rate of 1,000 six-inch-equivalent wafers per month starting in January, reported the Nihon Keizai Shimbun.
