Hitachi to produce TFT LCD driver ICs in Singapore

Hitachi reportedly plans to begin volume production of TFT LCD driver ICs at Hitachi Nippon Steel Semiconductor Singapore (HNS) in the second half of fiscal year 2002 (October 2002-March 2003), according to the Nikkei Sangyo Shimbun.
