Ability Enterprise reported August 2026 revenue of NT$1.313 billion, its highest monthly level since December 2015, as three new product lines entered volume shipments. The Taiwanese optics and imaging maker said the gain followed a first-half earnings jump and reflected progress in its shift from traditional imaging manufacturing toward AI-enabled visual systems.

The company said first-half earnings per share reached NT$1.55, up from NT$0.63 a year earlier. That was an increase of 146% and about 2.46 times the prior-year result. The latest revenue milestone added to investor focus on how quickly the business can convert its new programs into sustained growth over the next three years.

Ability Enterprise has been extending its capabilities in optics, imaging modules, and precision manufacturing into edge AI, machine vision, and smart sensing. As global AI moves beyond cloud applications into physical AI and real-world use cases, the company said its products are evolving from camera lenses into components used as the "eyes" of AI robots. It said next-generation sensing and vision modules developed with Japanese and US customers have already entered mass production and can be used in humanoid robots, service robots, and automated guided vehicles.

In drones, the company said its high-end camera lenses and optical modules have completed customer certification and are gradually being delivered for uses including environmental monitoring, infrastructure inspections, and public safety. Its European AI smart lens business also moved into a stronger order phase in the second half of the year after development and validation, with edge AI and image sensing aimed at smart city and traffic management applications.

Ability Enterprise said 2026 is an important year in which the results of its transformation are becoming more visible. With the three new product categories having moved from research and certification into mass shipments, and with existing projects scaling alongside new customers and new models, management said it remained positive on the company's operating outlook.
