Abstract

Since the sales speed of EVs is going significantly faster than the deployment of chargers,  various governments and charger operators are working together to accelerate the deployment of chargers, aiming to create a comprehensive charging network and a friendly charging experience to meet the needs of EV owners.

Electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) is a device designed specifically for power supply to electric vehicles, commonly known as "chargers." They can be divided into two charging modes, alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC), and the two types are based on usage scenarios, private and public, available in five primary charging standards.

The EVSE industry encompasses market players such as automakers, equipment suppliers, charging operators, and land developers, who compete and cooperate in each segment.
