Chenbro Micom has expressed optimism about demand for AI servers powered by multiple processors in the second half of 2023. With demand for multi-GPU servers rising, the installation density of GPUs, GPU cards, and/or accelerator cards is making product designs more difficult and will have a positive effect on average selling prices (ASPs), according to the chassis maker.

Chenbro anticipates that high-end AI server projects will continue to propel operational recovery. The transition to new CPU platforms is poised to boost server shipments in the second half of this year, and the company's second-half sales are anticipated to exceed those of the first half.

Chenbro reported May revenue increased 19% sequentially to NT$910 million (US$29.6 million). Revenue for the first five months of 2023 totaled NT$3.33 billion.

Chenbro disclosed previously that its server customers mainly in China and the US are actively developing AI servers. The company expects to see its revenue grow quarter by quarter this year.

Power Logic, a maker of cooling fans for graphics cards, has seen promising growth in demand for AI, HPC, and edge computing device applications. The company is also actively engaged in the development for applications requiring water-cooled designs.

The launch of new graphics cards has begun to drive orders from gaming industry customers for related cooling fan products, said Power Logic, adding that the company anticipates a steady and positive second half of the year.

Power Logic saw its May revenue decline 10.5% on month to NT$104 million. The company's cumulative 2023 revenue through May came to NT$539 million.
