Innolux will showcase in-house-developed innovative display solutions, including electronic paper (e-paper) displays, smart liquid crystal windows, train-use displays and advanced automotive displays, at the Touch Taiwan 2022 during April 27-29.

Innolux has partnered with ecosystem system makers to develop a range of e-paper displays meant to replace printed posters, including a 31.2-inch 16:9 color e-paper display.

Smart liquid crystal windows feature smart light control, projection of natural light, no color shift, no size restriction, fast response (less than one second), high transparency and energy saving, and can reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions for buildings, said Innolux.

For train-use displays, Innolux has developed a 36-inch billboard with dual screens and a single LED backlight unit; a 36-inch 4K curve-surface advertising display featuring curvature radius of 800mm, high color saturation (NTSC80%), 1,000nits and a wide viewing angle; and a 48-inch display of information on movement of trains.

Advanced automotive display solutions include a 34-inch miniLED-backlit local dimming display; a 12.3-inch low-reflection go-black display with integrated black effect enabling clear display of information under strong sunlight or in tunnels; an integrated cockpit display system consisting of ultra-low-reflection dashboard and central information display; a co-pilot privacy protection display; and a third-party driving monitoring system including smart driver monitoring system and ADAS.
