WT Micro to acquire Singaporean IC distributor for NT$5 billion

Taiwan-based WT Microelectronics has announced plans to take over Singapore-based IC distributor Excelpoint Technology via its wholly-owned subsidiary WT Semiconductor for a total of NT$5 billion (US$172 million).
