Taiwan 2021 economic growth of 4.42% hits 11-year high, says DGBAS

Taiwan's economic growth rate for 2021 is estimated at 6.45% (adjusted by 0.17 percentage points from January's preliminary estimate of 6.28%) which is the highest annual level since 2011, according to the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting, and Statistics (DGBAS) on February 24.

2022 economic growth rate is forecast at 5.3% for China, 3.7% for the US, and 3.7% for the European Union, DGBAS indicated.
