Largan September revenues hit 8-month high

Smartphone-use lens module maker Largan Precision has reported consolidated revenues of NT$4.172 billion (US$150 million) for September, the highest monthly figure since February 2021.

The sum represents a sequential increase of 3.99% but a year-on-year decrease of 18.59%.

Of the revenues, 20-megapixel and above lens modules accounted for 10-20%, 10- to below 20-megapixel models for 40-50%, 8- to below 10-megapixel for less than 10%, and below 8-megapixel for 20-30%, Largan said.

Based on orders received, consolidated revenues for October are expected to remain unchanged sequentially, Largan noted.

Largan posted consolidated revenues of NT$11.978 billion for third-quarter 2021, growing 18.44% sequentially but slipping 19.00% on year, and those of NT$33.911 billion for January-September declined 16.58% on year.
