Smartphone-use lens module maker Largan Precision has reported consolidated revenues of NT$4.683 billion (US$155 million) for April, decreasing 13.98% sequentially and 6.03% on year.
Of lens modules shipped in April, 20-megapixel and above models accounted for 20-30%, 10- to below 20-megapixel for 40-50%, 8- to below 10-megapixel for 20-30%, and below 8-megapixel for 0-10%.
Samsung, Oppo and Xiaomi have reduced the order volumes for smartphone lens modules by about 30%, 20-30% and 10-20% respectively, for second-quarter 2020, compared to their previous estimates, while Huawei has increased by 5-10%, according to industry sources.
Largan expects May consolidated revenues to slip sequentially.
Laragn posted consolidated revenues of NT$17.898 billion for January-April, growing 20.87% on year. It has decided to distribute a cash dividend per share of NT$79.00 for 2019, accounting for 37.49% of the corresponding net EPS of NT$210.70.
