Memory module supplier Kingston Technology has disclosed plans to restructure its sales and marketing team in Asia Pacific, and will implement a mechanism to avoid employees from violating the company's ethics policy.
Several Kingston employees stationed in Asia Pacific are suspected of gaining personal interests improperly from their business dealings, and an investigation has been conducted internally, the company indicated.
The ongoing investigation to identify staff involved in the matter will not influence Kingston's operations, the company said.
Headquartered in the US, Kingston will also reorganize its sales and marketing team for the Asia-Pacific region while adjusting the scope of the team's responsibility, the company said. According to DRAMeXchange, Kingston continued to dominate the DRAM module market in 2015 with a 68.36% share. Despite falling prices for PC DRAM, Kingston managed to grow its DRAM module revenues by 3.85% in 2015.
