Handset keypad and component maker Silitech Technology swung back to profitability in the second quarter of 2016, in which net profits reached NT$2 million (US$63,886) or NT$0.01 per share.
Despite improved performance in the second quarter, net losses totaled NT$64.9 million in the first half of 2016, representing an EPS of negative NT$0.36.
Meanwhile, the company also reported revenues of NT$215 million for July, which were almost the same as the previous month.
July revenues for mechanical integrated devices totaled NT$139 million, representing 64.5% of total revenues, and automotive parts reached NT$76 million or 35.5%.
Accumulated 2016 revenues through July amounted to NT$1.434 billion.
The company's stock price gained NT$0.55 to finish at NT$16.50 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange during the August 11 session.
