Yin Jing, president of the home appliance business unit at China-based Alibaba's e-commerce subsidiary T-mall has commented at CES Asia 2016 that Alibaba has been keen on investing in and developing online video services and is optimistic about video services' prospects.
Currently, most of China's online shopping services are mainly focusing on tier-1 and -2 cities, but Alibaba is looking to provide online shopping services to tier-3 and lower cities as well as rural areas and is planning to use online video service to help promote products.
