Taiwan flexible PCB firms March revenues down on year

Taiwan-based flexible PCB (FPCB) suppliers Career Technology, Flexium Interconnect and Zhen Ding Technology Holding have reported on-year decreases in consolidated revenues for March 2016 of 3.4%, 7.9% and 3.1%, respectively.

Career Tech generated March revenues of NT$1.12 billion (US$34.4 million), up 44.6% compared to February when revenues fell to a 24-month low of NT$771 million. The company's cumulative 2016 revenues through March declined 12.4% from a year earlier to NT$3.13 billion.

Flexium posted March revenues of NT$1.23 billion, up 38.7% sequentially. Revenues totaled NT$3.75 billion for the first three months of 2016, down 6.9% from a year ago.

Zhen Ding announced March revenues of NT$5.49 billion, a 49.7% surge compared to February when revenues hit a 24-month low of NT$3.67 billion. Revenues for the first quarter came to NT$15.39 billion, falling 13.6% compared to the same period in 2015.
