Acer has announced that it sold out 70,000 units of its fitness bracelet Liquid Leap Active during a 24-hour limited-time promotional campaign held through a TV shopping channel in the US on December 13.
Acer offered two bracelets or one bracelet with three interchangeable straps for US$99.95 in a packaged deal.
The Liquid Lead Active is able to track physical activity, including distance traveled, number of steps, burned calories, and sleep phase. The device also allows users to set fitness targets and make notification when the targets are met, according to Acer.
Acer is currently also promoting two other smart bracelets, the Liquid Curve and Liquid Fit.
