Wah Hong expects 10% on-quarter revenue increase in 3Q15

Optical film maker Wah Hong has reported a 10.25% increase in revenues for the third quarter of 2015 driven largely due to orders from Japan.

Orders from Sharp, Sony and Panasonic for TV applications pushed orders throughout the third quarter and are expected to remain strong in the fourth quarter.

Organic material revenues increased 34% as well due to the company adjusting its product portfolio, the company reported.

Despite the quarterly increase Wah Hong's accumulative revenues from January-September 2015 declined 23.80% on year.

The company expects orders to customers in India and Turkey to increase in the fourth quarter and is also establishing new cooperation plans with OLED makers.

Wah Hong added it expects the company's performance to decline 10% on quarter in the fourth quarter.
