Good Way Technology, a global leading USB peripherals and docking solution provider, today announces the USB-C Triple Display Docking station at COMPUTEX Taipei 2015.

More and more 4K ultra-high resolution displays are in the markets. They are more affordable with features offering an amazing picture for professional work or even entertainment. With USB 3.1 and Type-C standards released, the USB-IF was looking to create a single cable that could carry everything, and now that DisplayPort through Alternate Mode specification can be implemented over Type-C connector, USB is one big step closer to that with the ability to carry native video streams. This is designed to open up a number of possibilities for connecting TVs, monitors, computers, docking stations, and other devices with DisplayPort video while also leveraging USB's other data and power capabilities.

Good Way Technology's USB-C Triple Display Docking station is one of the major launch products this year in COMPUTEX, which is enabling DisplayPort display technology and 4K video over Type-C interface for Notebooks and other smart devices. This result is great news for an industry on the cusp of widespread adoption of 4K video technologies. The Triple Display features make three simultaneous video outputs from the docking station, and one of video output supporting up to Ultra HD signals.

Good Way Technology is targeting the mainstream market of point-to-point (P2P) applications with this USB-C Triple Display Docking station, equipped with one Type-C port, one HDMI, one VGA port, one DisplayPort port, one Gigabit LAN port, four standard USB3.0 ports including two ports compliance with BC 1.2 standard, one stereo audio out and one Mic in port, and a savvy desktop-friendly industrial design.

Type-C connectors supporting power delivery appeal to consumers because not only do they enable high transmission speeds but more importantly they have created an innovative power charging scheme. The host can supply power to the device through a USB Type-C port and the device can also deliver power reversely to the host. The upstream ports support a maximum of 36W power supply, equivalent to Profile 3 spec. The downstream has one USB Type-C port supporting 36W power supply and one USB Type-C port supporting 15W.

This docking station is built-in USB 3.0 ports which could enable the Super Speed data transfer between USB peripherals and provide full backwards compatibility with older USB specifications. Also, Supporting BC1.2 charging port design is fitting the flexible user demands on charging various kinds of mobile devices.

To meet the demands for handling massive files in 4K video production to proper displaying with different sized ultra-high resolution displays, Good Way Technology's solution is well tested and performed with Windows 8.1 DPI scaling enhancements to fit different display screens and massively improving user experience.
