Taiwan-based Sporton International, which provides mobile device testing and certification services, expects to generate on-year revenue growth in the first half of 2015 thanks to brisk demand for 4G LTE devices as well as that for smart home products.
As more 4G phones will be available in the entry-level and mid-range market segments, Sporton is optimistic about its business outlook for 2015.
In addition, smart home solutions and other connected devices associated with the Internet of Things (IoT) will emerge creating new demand, Sporton indicated. Sporton is ready to offer testing and certification services for those products, which will play another growth driver for the company in 2015.
Sporton reported record consolidated sales of NT$2.92 billion (US$92.2 million) for 2014, buoyed by strong testing and certification demand for 4G LTE smartphones.
