Taiwan-based solar cell maker Motech Industries has announced that Motech (Suzhou) Renewable Energy, its subsidiary based in Kunshan, eastern China, has obtained an order for 22MWp of PV modules to be installed in rooftop PV systems in China.
The subsidiary expects to land orders for PV modules totaling at least 80MWp in 2015, the parent company said.
The China subsidiary currently has an annual production capacity of 720MWp for solar cells and 100MWp for PV modules.
