MediaTek has announced consolidated revenues of NT$17.43 billion (US$576.2 million) for March, up 10.8% sequentially and 84.8% on year.
For the first quarter of 2014, revenues were up 91.9% on year to NT$46.01 billion, higher than its guidance of NT$41.4-44.6 billion and market expectations of NT$45.5 billion.
EPS for the first quarter is likely to top NT$6.50, the Chinese-language Apple Daily cited sources at institutional investors as indicating.
