Flexible PCB suppliers Zhen Ding Technology Holding and Flexium Interconnect are poised for strong shipment growth in 2014 amid market speculations indicating that Apple is likely to launch 4.7- and 5.5-inch iPhones in the year, according to industry sources.

Zhen Ding has reported revenues of NT$3.66 billion (US$121.1 million) for February, up 25.5% on year. For the first two months of 2014, revenues amounted to NT$9.84 billion, increasing 21.9% from a year earlier.

Judging from its shipment records, Zhen Ding is likely to see its revenue reach NT$70 billion in 2014, the sources estimated.

Zhen Ding's capex is expected to top NT$100 million in 2014, mainly for ramping up its capacity to meet increasing demand, said the sources.

Flexium posted revenues of NT$597 million for February, up 17.1% on year. Accumulated revenues for the January-February period totaled NT$1.68 million, down 1.7% from the previous year.

Following the completion of a capacity ramp in 2013, Flexium is likely to boost its sales to NT$2 billion a month in 2014, estimated the sources.
