Taiwan-based IC and electronic component distributor Promate Electronic is looking to grow sales generated from China, eyeing more than 30% of company revenues coming from the market.
Promate distributes ICs and components mainly for the production of LCD panels, industrial electronics and application-specific products, differentiating itself from other IC distributors which usually focus on mass-market consumer products.
In other news, market watchers expect Promate to likely report single-digit sequential growth in fourth-quarter revenues. Consolidated revenues at Promate came to NT$18.28 billion (US$608.7 million) in the first 11 months of 2013, rising 0.1% from a year earlier.
