Intel announces first commercial availability of 4G LTE modem; introduces module for 4G connected tablets and ultrabooks

Intel has announced the commercial availability of its multimode, multiband 4G LTE solution. The Intel XMM 7160 platform is featured in the LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (10.1), now available in Asia and Europe.
