IC demand from smartphone and notebook sectors to pick up in 3Q12

Taiwan-based IC suppliers are still positive about the prospects for the third quarter of 2013 as they believe that demand from the smartphone and notebook sectors are likely to stage a rebound in the quarter, according to industry sources.
