Nanya PCB expects its sales to stay flat in the second quarter of 2013 after revenues dropped 10.1% sequentially and 13.1% on year to NT$6.54 billion (US$219.04 million) in the first quarter, according to industry sources.

Slow sales of PCs and consumer electronics products in mature as well as emerging markets will weaken demand for PCBs in the traditional off-peak season in the second quarter, the sources indicated.

Sales of rigid PCBs and IC substrates are the two major business lines for Nanya PCB, with PC-use PCB products contributing 50% to its total revenues.

Nanya PCB posted net losses of NT$2.06 billion in 2012, due largely to decreased shipments to the PC segment, the sources noted.
