China's software industry generated total revenues of CNY2.502 trillion (US$396 billion) in 2012, growing 28.5% from 2011, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
Total export value for software products and services in the same period was US$36.8 billion, accounting for 9.29% of China's overall software industry sales and rising by 18.0% from 2011.
