Semiconductor equipment sales to drop over 10% in 2012, says SEMI

Global sales for semiconductor equipment are forecast to contract 12.2% to US$38.2 billion in 2012, according to SEMI. Sales went up 9% in 2011, following a larger 151% increase in 2010, said SEMI.
