Notebook ODM Inventec on August 28 released its financial report for the first half of 2012, with net profits of NT$1.785 billion (US$60.5 million) hiking 153.51% on year.
Inventec generated revenues of NT$160.874 billion, gross margin of 4.43%, net operating profit of NT$3.129 billion and net EPS of NT$0.50 for the first half of 2012, the company indicated.
Inventec shipped 3.8 million notebooks in the second quarter and is expected to see sequential growth of less than 10% in third-quarter shipments, according to industry sources.
