Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT) will be attending Touch Taiwan in Taipei where it will be featuring some of its newest applied technology products.
CPT will be displaying its technologies in four different sections that will be called i-Life, Innovation, Touch and 3D. The i-Life section will feature a smart living space featuring displays and how they can play a role in peoples' daily lives, including as a smart security system.
In conjunction with the smart security system, Telemedicine, which is a method of providing medical treatment via telecommunication and information technologies despite spatial and time differences, will be shown on CPT displays to show additional possibilities of displays.
In the Innovation section, CPT will feature transparent and wide viewing angle displays, which industry observers say will be the mainstream for vendors to display product information. The observers said the screens will also be used in the architectural, advertising and public sectors and will see expansive growth in the years to come.
Additionally, the Touch area will feature plug-in touch sensors, in-cell touch sensors and 0.1mm touch screen glass products while the 3D area will have rotational naked-eye 3D displays that can display 3D images in both landscape and portrait formats.
Touch Taiwan will run from August 29-31 at the Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall.
