Altek sees 1Q12 revenue proportion for digital cameras drop to 85-90%

Taiwan-based digital camera ODM Altek has been extending product development and production to automotive electronics, blood glucose meters and compact camera modules and therefore saw the proportion of first-quarter 2012 consolidated revenues for digital cameras fall to 85-90%, the company said at an April 27 investors conference.

Altek released its financial report for the first quarter of 2012: consolidated revenues were NT$6.328 billion (US$214 million), gross margin 7.01%, net operating profit NT$21 million, net profit of NT$63 million and net EPS 0.17.
