Sharp announces planned shut-down of NS Solar Material

Japan-based Sharp announced the plans to shut down polysilicon firm NS Solar Material, a joint venture with Nippon Steel, at the end of September 2012. NS Solar Material will be dissolved by the end of March 2014.
