Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) expects a net EPS of NT$3,08 in 2012, according to its financial forecast released at a February 16 investors conference.
FET recorded revenues of NT$3.590 billion (US$117 million) for non-voice mobile services in the fourth quarter of 2011, growing 44% on year and accounting for 24.57% of total revenues for mobile services.
FET had 4.353 million 3G subscribers, 793,000 2G subscribers and 1.473 million pre-paid card subscribers at the end of 2011, with a monthly ARPU of NT$854 for the fourth quarter. In particular, 3G subscribers using smartphones posted monthly ARPU of NT$1,500.
FET has set aside a capex budget of NT$8.7 billion for 2012, consisting of NT$6.8 billion for infrastructure of mobile communication networks and NT$1.9 billion for fixed-line networks.
