Spot price of polysilicon in Greater China region has fallen below US$30/kg, according to Chihheng Liang, an analyst of Digitimes Research. While international polysilicon suppliers are still sticking to US$30/kg, available polysilicon in the Greater China region now comes between US$25-30/kg. The percentage of polysilicon at the US$28-29 price range is the biggest among all.
Prices of 125 mono solar wafer and cell have stopped falling this week, said Liang. The price of 125 mono solar cells has actually rebounded back to US$0.54/watt. Liang indicated that increasing demand in Germany has helped to stabilize the price of monocrystalline solar products.
Due to oversupply, prices of 156 multi solar wafer and cell continue to fall. The price of 156 multi solar wafer has dropped below US$1.30/pc.
