Lower than forecast sequential growth in 4Q10 notebook shipments, say Taiwan makers

First-tier Taiwan-based notebook ODMs have downward adjusted on-quarter growth in fourth-quarter 2010 shipment volume from originally projected 3-3.3% to below 3%, according to industry sources.
