Taiwan-based makers see 2Q10 ODD shipments down 8.3% on quarter, says Digitimes Research

Taiwan-based makers shipped an estimated 18.43 million PC-use optical disc drives (ODDs) in the second quarter of 2010, decreasing by 8.3% from the preceding quarter but increasing by 8.5% on year, according to Digitimes Research.
