The short supply of pick-up heads used in slim-type optical disc drives (ODDs) from the second quarter of 2009 has begun to ease, according to Taiwan based ODD makers.
Currently, OEM quotes for a slim-type ODD stand at US$20 or slightly more, these makers said.
