Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT) has announced that its consolidated revenues for October 2009 totaled NT$5.31 billion (US$164.15 million), down 17.7% sequentially from NT$6.45 billion and down 29.4% on year from NT$7.52 billion.
Revenues of the TFT business unit decreased 20.3% sequentially to NT$4.55 billion in October and represented a decrease of 22.8% on year.
October shipments of large-size panels totaled 1.3 million units, down 24.6% sequentially and down 18.8% on year. Shipments of small- to medium-size panels increased to 16.05 million, up 3.9% sequentially.
For the CRT business unit, revenues totaled NT$762 million in October, up 2.1% sequentially. CRT shipments for October approximated 1.01 million units, up 2.2% sequentially.
Unconsolidated revenues for October 2009 were NT$4.28 billion, decreasing 20.8% sequentially and 20.3% on year.
