Taiwan-based mask ROM and NOR flash chipmaker Macronix International (MXIC) has raised the company's guidance for the third quarter of 2009 while acknowledging better-than-expected demand for flash products, according to the company.
In addition, Macronix has posted net sales of NT$2.84 billion (US$86.7 million) for August, up 35.9% on month and 14% on year. Accumulated revenues from January through August reached NT$15.62 billion, representing a 7% increase from 2008.
