Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO) has denied rumors that said it was looking for funding from Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) and the Pou Chen Group to complete the construction of a 8.5G LCD panel plant in in Kaohsiung, southern Taiwan.
