Apacer Technology has ventured into software distribution by obtaining the rights to distribute Diskeeper's products in the Greater China market, according to the Taiwan-based memory module maker. Responsibilities will also include training and consulting services, the company said.
Apacer in 2008 inked a strategic cooperation agreement with Diskeeper for the joint development of solid-state drive (SSD) solutions. The memory module maker has rolled out a SSD series that features built-in defragmentation software from Diskeeper.
