China-based vendor Haier hopes to cooperate with Tsann Kuen and E-Life Mall, two Taiwan-based 3C retail chains, to sell its electric home appliances in the Taiwan market, according to a Haier executive. Tsann Kuen said it holds an open attitude to the idea while E-Life Mall declined to comment.
Haier, which had 70% and 30% of its 2008 sales revenues from domestic and overseas sales respectively, plans to expand its overseas markets, including in Taiwan, the executive said at a conference in Taiwan on June 29.
